Meet Kristen Cipielewski, MA LPC, MEd
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to helping individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, burnout, and life transitions. I work with clients who feel stuck in emotional patterns, overwhelmed by stress, or disconnected from themselves and the life they want to create.
My approach is collaborative, goal-oriented, and tailored to each client's unique needs. Drawing from evidence-based practices including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and somatic interventions, I help clients gain insight, develop effective coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change. I believe healing involves both the mind and body and strive to create a supportive environment where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered.
Before becoming a counselor, I spent 17 years as an international educator, an experience that deepened my appreciation for cultural diversity, life transitions, and the challenges that come with adapting to change. This background allows me to connect with individuals from a variety of cultural and professional experiences, including educators, expats, and those navigating significant personal and professional transitions.
In addition to counseling, I have extensive training in yoga, mindfulness, and mind-body approaches to wellness. I believe every client's journey is unique and am committed to helping individuals build resilience, reconnect with their strengths, and create a life that feels more balanced, authentic, and fulfilling.
